Starflyer 59 - Gold (1995)

This is a heavy one. I don't know the story behind this record, but it sounds miserable. All the guitars suffocate instead of soar, the drums are dead, and Jason keeps singing about being messed up. He recorded a lot of it alone, apparently. Maybe that's why. Definitely my favorite Starflyer album (though their new one is close).
