November 26, 1998: "Macaque" by Failure (3.52mb)

I figured I'd start this off with an old favorite of mine. "Macaque" is one of Failure's early songs, from Comfort. It's so dissonant and weird, it sounds like Failure set up all their gear in an abandoned house and started playing. It's also got a really crazy ending to it, with the band wailing on their instruments and then a little watery interlude before the next song on the album, "Something". I wonder how it was live...
